Missing Persons are back with their sixth studio album ‘Hollywood Lie’.
The group – fronted by Dale Bozzio – will release their first original album in almost a decade on November 10.
Themed around the familiar story of a young starlet caught up in the glitz, glamour and empty promises of Hollywood, the album features guest performances from Billy Idol guitarist Steve Stevens, The Knack’s Nile Prescott and producer/co-writer Adam Hamilton of L.A. Guns!
The follow-up to 2020 covers collection ‘Dreaming’, it’s the first album of original material from the group since 2014’s ‘Missing In Action’.
Before then, the band will share a new edition of 2007’s ‘New Wave Sessions’, featuring an additional five covers including Let’s Dance (David Bowie), Venus (Shocking Blue) and Stuck In The Middle With You (Stealers Wheel).
‘New Wave Sessions’ is out October 20. ‘Hollywood Lie’ is out November 10. Both are available via the Cleopatra Records Store.
