Miley Cyrus has found herself atop the UK Singles and Albums Charts this week with Flowers and ‘Endless Summer Vacation’.
The pop superstar’s eighth LP rocketed to No. 1 this week, as its lead single racked up an impressive ninth week at the top spot.
She also secured two further Top 40 entries, with River (16) and Jaded (27) both debuting on the Singles rundown.
Martin Talbot, Chief Executive, Official Charts Company says: “Ever since she emerged as Hannah Montana in 2009, Miley Cyrus has consistently pushed boundaries.
“After smashing onto the music scene in her own right, she quickly set a new standard for herself, scoring a rare UK double top on the Official Singles and Official Albums Charts in 2013 with Wrecking Ball and ‘Bangerz’.
“To do so again nearly ten years later is further evidence that Miley is a huge music talent who is here to stay.”
Elsewhere on the Singles Chart, PinkPantheress holds strong at No. 2 with Boy’s A Liar, while Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris debut at No. 3 with Miracle.
Falling to four is The Weeknd and Die For You, as Rema rounds out the Top 5 with Calm Down.
Over on the Albums Chart, The Weeknd’s ‘The Highlights’ rises to second place, ahead of ‘UK Grim’ – a new entry for Sleaford Mods at No. 3.
Former No. 1 ‘Trustfall’ from P!nk also climbs to No. 4, and Harry Styles’ ‘Harry’s House’ returns to the Top 5 once more.
