Mariah Carey is to make a special announcement during a performance on Good Morning America’s (GMA) Summer Concert Series.
The Underneath The Stars diva will appear on the show next Wednesday, August 19th, where she’s set to perform and share the mystery announcement.
While the reveal is being kept under wraps, it comes amid the star’s #MC30 celebrations, marking three decades since the release of her self-titled debut album.
Beginning in July, Mariah has been releasing digital EPs, remixes, bonus cuts, rare tracks, acapella renditions and live performances from throughout her career.
According to a press statement, the music releases will be accompanied by video footage, photos, physical releases and personal notes from the singer.
Fans on Twitter have been speculating over what the big reveal could be, suggesting reissues from her back catalogue, a B-sides collection, or even a brand new studio album.
One of the star’s biggest albums already appears to be getting a vinyl reissue later this year after details leaked online. Her first memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, is out in September.
