Madonna is working with screenwriter Erin Wilson on her forthcoming biopic project.
The Human Nature star has been teasing the project on social media, and had previously been working with screenwriter Diablo Cody, before it was reported she exited the process.
Despite subsequent reports suggesting Cody finished a script with the Queen of Pop and submitted the final draft to bosses at Universal, it seems Madonna is pushing in a different direction and has brought Wilson on board to pen a new draft.
Alongside a gallery of snaps on social media, showing the pair working on plans alongside diaries dating back to the early 1980s, she penned: “Sitting with my favorite bitch…………I mean writer.”

Madonna announced the biopic last year, saying in a statement: “I want to convey the incredible journey that life has taken me on as an artist, a musician, a dancer – a human being, trying to make her way in this world.
“The focus of this film will always be music. Music has kept me going and art has kept me alive.
“There are so many untold and inspiring stories and who better to tell it than me,” she concluded. “It’s essential to share the roller coaster ride of my life with my voice and vision.”
In addition to the movie, Madonna is also working on her ‘Madame X’ Tour concert movie, which has an October 2021 release date.
