Bros are working on their first album in 30 years.
The sibling duo released their last LP, Changing Faces, in 1991 but, speaking to the BBC, Luke Goss revealed that, after reuniting with his twin Matt for their documentary film Bros: After the Screaming Stops, the pair are now “closer than ever” with “a loving relationship”.
“I always hoped there was a magic pill out there where I could get on with my countrymen and that there would be great support,” he says.
“Who would have thought a documentary would fix family issues, but it did. It was a magic pill for the country for us, and a magic pill within our creative communication. It was a big, big, big benefit for our lives.”
The documentary charted the rise and fall of the band, as well as their preparation for the sell-out reunion shows in London in 2017. And while Luke lives in Los Angeles at Matt’s in Las Vegas, the pair are actively working on new music.
“Bros is back in the sense that we’re planning the new album,” he confirms.
“We’re coming up with our individual songs that we’re going to mush together. The definitive Bros album is coming up. We’re working on it next year. And that might not have happened before (the documentary).”
