Lizzo delivers the follow-up to her global smash Truth Hurts with the music video for her latest single 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready).

Lifted from her latest album ‘Special’, the track sees Lizzo challenging herself to accept the love she deserves, with the music video reflecting the sentiment. 

Opening with the About Damn Time hitmaker walking down the aisle in a white gown, the clip references the video for her breakthrough hit.

However, in a turn of events Lizzo has second thoughts and exits the ceremony and drives away in a red car, leaving the attendees shocked. 

The star is set to perform her latest track at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on August 28. 

Speaking about her latest long-player – the follow-up to 2019’s ‘Cuz I Love U’ – Lizzo recently said: “I think that the music really is going to speak for itself. I’m writing songs about love from every direction, and I hope that I can turn a little bit of the fear that’s been running rampant in this world, energetically into love. 

“That’s the point. I had a lot of fear, and I had to do the work on myself, and this music is some of that work in turning that fear into love.”
