Lindsay Lohan is firmly on the comeback trail, and she’s now plotting a return to the big screen too.
After returning with her long-awaited new single Back To Me, the actress/singer told the Daily Mail she’d love to land a new movie role – especially if it means reprising her iconic role as Cady Heron.
“Of course, I would say yes,” she said. “To come back with a movie like that would be my dream, to be honest, because I haven’t done one in so long. That would be my ultimate.”
Referencing a recent interview by Rachel McAdams aka Regina George, who also admitted she’s up for a return, Lindsay insisted she could convince her other castmates to return as well.
“I think if I talked to Amanda (Seyfried) and I talked to Lacey (Chabert) and we kind of all could have a chat together… maybe we should do a Zoom call,” she teased.
Lindsay recently told Page Six her new album will follow on from her debut – the pop classic Speak – sharing: “It has a lot of memories from my life in California, and a remembrance of things I saw and felt in my life when I was in my early 20s.
“The other tracks on the album are going to be uplifting and fun. The goal for me is to have a fun album that we can dance to.”
