Linda Nolan is set to follow in the footsteps of stars including Madonna, Kylie Minogue, and even Cliff Richard, as she launches her own range of alcoholic drinks.
And The Nolans star’s latest venture got off to a flying start, with the debut release from her Hudson’s brand – the Passion Fruit & Watermelon Gin – selling out within 15 hours.
According to a press release, the beverage sold out faster than Kylie’s wine (which sold out in a week), Conor McGregor’s Proper Twelve Whisky (which sold out in 10 days), Rita Ora’s Próspero Tequila (which hasn’t sold out at all yet).
Developed in partnership with award-winning York-based distillery Sloemotion, Hudson’s Passion Fruit & Watermelon Gin is “a deliciously dry gin, distilled traditionally and blended perfectly with wonder-foods passionfruit and watermelon, to create one smooth, sensational pour-filler that will get you In The Mood!”
Linda says: “It’s a real thrill to be launching my own business. I want to show people that it’s never too late to fulfil your dreams. I can’t wait for everyone to try the gin and hope they fall in love with our first offering!
? SURPRISE! ? I’ve launched my own drinks brand @Hudsons_Spirits??

“Creating the brand with my manager and enlisting the help of Sloemotion has been a joy and fascinating learning experience for me.”
Revealing she’s already developing new flavours to expand the gin range, plus plans to produce rum and vodka options, she adds: “I want to create a global brand that will last for generations and show that being over 50 or having cancer or any illness shouldn’t hold you back.”
Linda was diagnosed with incurable liver cancer last April – the third time the illness has returned following her initial breast cancer diagnosis in 2006 and secondary cancer on her pelvis in 2017.
After an initial bout of chemotherapy treatment, the Chemistry singer was informed that more tumours have been found on her liver.
Alongside sister Anne, who was also diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in April, 2020, the siblings are set to mark one year from their diagnoses with the release of their new book, ‘Stronger Together: How We’re Living While Fighting’.
‘Stronger Together: How We’re Living While Fighting’ is available to pre-order now.
