Lady Gaga is set to premiere her new concert movie on Apple Music this week.
‘Apple Music Live: Lady Gaga MAYHEM Requiem’ will launch on the platform on Friday (May 15) at 4am BST and will be accessible on without a subscription at the time of its premiere.
Directed and produced by Morningview, the full performance and Spatial Audio live album, meanwhile, will be available anytime exclusively for Apple Music subscribers.
In contrast to her elaborate and dramatic arena shows, the film documents a special one-night-only performance, filmed live at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on January 14, with giant opera-house staging of the original run reduced to rubble for the final act of the ‘MAYHEM’ era.
It features Gaga performing the album in full, often with special stripped-back arrangements, including the singles ‘Disease‘, ‘Abracadabra‘ and ‘Die With A Smile‘.
