Kylie Minogue kicked off her first-ever Las Vegas residency at the Voltaire venue at The Venetian on Friday (November 3) night.
On the heels of the release of her chart-topping 16th album, ‘Tension’, the Aussie superstar took to the stage for an epic 90-minute spectacle, dubbed ‘More Than Just A Residency’, with a setlist spanning her entire career.
Launching with the title song from her seventh album, ‘Light Years’ (2000), the set featured classics such as Spinning Around, Love At First Sight, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head and Confide In Me, along with recent singles Padam Padam, Tension and Hold On To Now.
Also included was recent album cut Vegas High and, in a setlist largely focussed on the 1990s and beyond, her first-ever single, The Locomotion.
Starting on the main stage at the front of the 1,000-capacity venue, Kylie moved throughout the show across various smaller circular stages dotted throughout the room, for an intimate experience unlike her previous shows.
