It features an impressive ensemble of 24 stars including – wait for it – Bryan Adams, Izzy Bizu, Cher, Clean Bandit, Mel C, Jamie Cullum, Ella Eyre, Paloma Faith, Rebecca Ferguson, Jess Glynne, Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Lenny Kravitz, KSI, Lauv, Ava Max, Kylie Minogue, James Morrison, Gregory Porter, Nile Rodgers, Jack Savoretti, Jay Sean, Anoushka Shankar, Robbie Williams and Yola.

“Children in Need is such a special charity and so loved by everyone, including me. It was a privilege to take part in this recording with so many amazing artists,” says Kylie, who recently released her 15th album DISCO.

“This year it feels even more poignant than ever, and I hope we can all come together to raise as much as possible,” she continues, with Cher adding that she was “very emotional” while recording the tune, which is something “very important” to her.

The track was recorded and filmed by artists in locations across the world, with Cher joining in Malibu, California and Robbie Williams in Switzerland.

Funds raised from the release will help support children and young people across the UK facing disadvantage amid the pandemic, which has resulted in financial hardship for many amid repeated lockdowns and safety guidelines across the country.

The Children in Need TV event will feature stars including Shawn Mendes and Beverley Knight, alongside the cast of West End musical Six and this year’s Strictly Come Dancing stars.

Mel Giedroyc, Stephen Mangan, Alex Scott and Chris Ramsey will host the programme, which airs on BBC One from 7 pm UK time.
