Mighty Hoopla has announced the first wave of acts for its 2023 event.
The pop festival will return to London’s Brockwell park on June 3 and 4 for two days of the best of pop and queer culture.
Former Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland will headline on Saturday, with electro pop act Years & Years closing out Sunday.
“I’m very excited to be back headlining the very fab queer extravaganza that is Mighty Hoopla,” says frontman Olly Alexander. ”It’s been amazing to watch the festival grow over the years and I’m really thrilled to be part of such a stellar lineup of artists I really love.
“I promise to bring pleather, giant toilet cubicles, PVC and the gayest show ever to Brockwell Park. Together our collective gay power will be unmatched.”
Main stage performers include Aqua, Kelis, Natasha Bedingfield and Rachel Stevens, while Beverley Knight and Sophie Ellis-Bextor top the bill of the Candy Crush Arena, alongside 911, Jamelia, Samantha Mumba and others.
Tickets for Mighty Hoopla 2023 are on sale now.
