Katy Perry is reportedly set to return to the stage in London as part of this year’s Capital Jingle Bell Ball.
According to sources, the Roar hitmaker – who last performed in the UK in 2018 as part of her ‘Witness Tour’ – will headline the show in December, which will once again take place at The O2 arena.
“Officially, Capital are yet to announce their 2024 line-up, but Katy has been signed up for a while,” they told The Sun’s Bizarre column. “It’s a huge coup for the station and Katy can’t wait to be back in the UK performing.
“It’s been too long. She loves the UK and is already planning on how to put on the best show possible.”
Katy first teased plans to perform in the UK in July, telling Heart Radio: “I am going to be here again before the end of the year, and that’s going to be very exciting… for a show, that’s all you need to know.”
It doesn’t look like it’ll be long until Katy’s back, with the star’s ‘Lifetimes Tour’ – in support of her new album ‘143’ – launching in Australia in June 2025, with more dates to follow.
On plans to tour the UK, the star – who is married to English actor Orlando Bloom – added: “There will be a tour, it will be all over the UK. And I’ve got to go to Kent soon to see my mother-in-law, we’ve got to go down there.”
