Katy Perry has shared a snippet of her new single Lifetimes with fans online.
On the back of her recent comeback with Woman’s World – the Dr. Luke-produced lead single from her sixth studio album ‘143’ – the US star posted a preview of the forthcoming tune on YouTube.
‘I know you feel it / Can you believe it? / I’m gonna love you ’til the end and then repeat it’ she sings on the track.
The hitmaker also shared a video of herself dancing along to the song – which hits digital platforms on August 9 – with fans at what appears to be an album preview event, writing in the caption of the Instagram post: “143 IS A PARTY AND EVERYONE’S INVITED: SOUND ON.”
In a press release, Perry explained: “I set out to create a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message.”
A description of the new album on Perry’s official store adds: “The result is a sexy, fearless, return to form for the multifaceted musician with an album jam packed with the empowering, sexy, & provocative pop anthems you’ve come to love.
“This is an album with a lot of heart and a lot of BPM.”
