Katy Perry will release her sixth studio album ‘143’ on September 20.

Preceded by the single Woman’s World – out Thursday (July 11) – the LP is the follow up to 2020’s ‘Smile’ and is billed as “a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album”.

“The symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message,” reads a description on her official website. The title means “I Love You” and is an abbreviation that counts the letters in each word.

“The result is a sexy, fearless, return to form for the multifaceted musician with an album jam packed with the empowering, sexy, & provocative pop anthems you’ve come to love.

“This is an album with a lot of heart and a lot of BPM.”
