Duran Duran star John Taylor is delaying his weekly online bass guitar lesson amid the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests.
Each week during lockdown, the musician has been taking to Instagram live to jam with fans virtually, and has been welcoming special guests to play with him.
Last week, the Rio star was joined by Nile Rodgers, and this week’s guest was supposed to be Billy Idol.
However, as protests continue worldwide following the death of George Floyd, John has postponed the session until next week.
“In honor of the memorial service for George Floyd, and in respect for his family and the Black Lives Matter movement, we are moving tomorrow’s bass tutorial and John’s interview with Billy Idol to next week,” they shared on social media.
“More details to follow”.
