JLS want to hook up with Boyz II Men in a bid to make it big in the US.
The boyband returned last week with their new album ‘2.0’ and the four-piece – starring Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, JB Gill and Oritse Williams – have big plans for their comeback.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Oritse admits JLS would love to crack the states and would be keen to team up with Boyz II Men on a tour or Las Vegas residency.
“I think one of the things that would definitely be one of the JLS goals would be international success,” he says.
“One of our inspirations is Boyz II Men. They did a massive Las Vegas residency show.
“And so it would be an absolute dream to join forces with our heroes as a group and maybe even do something out in Vegas with them or in America, do an American tour.
“We’d have to make sure our vocals are super up to scratch because we will be under some serious vocal pressure.”
The group teamed up with big names on their new album, including Ed Sheeran, who penned their comeback single Eternal Love.
In a review of the album, Retro Pop called ‘2.0’ a “revitalised comeback” that “sees them return to the charts closer than ever and ready to dominate airwaves all over again”.
‘2.0’ is available on CD, vinyl and cassette.
