Jessie Ware has released Hello Love as the fifth single from her latest album, ‘That! Feels Good!’.
Arriving amid a run of global tour dates in support of the LP, which hit the UK this month, the mid tempo number offers a change in pace on the largely disco-centred record.
“For me, Hello Love is probably the most sentimental song on ‘That! Feels Good!’ It was a pause from all the madness and fun across all the other tracks on the record,” she says.
“I’m really proud of this song. I am so lucky that I get to accompany many people through special poignant parts of their lives and in my head this was a song that like many other of my older songs, maybe turns up on somebody’s wedding day.
“Wishful thinking. It’s a song I feel so lucky I get to perform for the rest of my career. It’s a celebration and one of my favourite songs I’ve even written.”
