Jennifer Lopez will release her new album ‘This Is Me… Now’ over the summer.
The long-awaited follow-up to 2014 LP ‘A.K.A.’ serves as a sequel to the singer’s 2002 effort ‘This Is Me… Then’ and, according to the superstar, will be out in a matter of months.
Speaking at Spotify’s Stream On event on Wednesday, she shared: “My upcoming album ‘This Is Me … Now’ is coming out this summer.
“Yes, you heard it here first. I’m super excited.”
The album features songs about Jennifer’s romance with actor Ben Affleck, to whom she was engaged back in the early noughties when she released her third LP.
They initially separated in 2004 but rekindled their romance in 2021 and married last summer.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 last year, she explained: “We captured me at this moment in time when I was reunited with the love of my life and we decided we were going to be together forever. The whole message of the album then is, ‘This love exists. This is a real love.’
“Now I think what the message of the album is very much if you were wondering if you have, like me at times, lost hope, almost given up, don’t, because true love does exist and some things do last forever and that’s real.”
