Jennifer Lopez dances her way to a brighter future in the music video for her latest single Cambia El Paso.
The track, which translates as ‘Change the Step’, sees the singer team with Rauw Alejandro for their first collaboration.
And in the visual, J.Lo stars out breaking free from a difficult situation, before the pair discover the joy of dancing through the streets, on the beach and in the waves of the ocean.
It’s a particularly symbolic piece for Jennifer, who recently broke off her engagement with baseball star Alex Rodriguez.
“It is about change and it is about taking a step. And it’s like, at once I just advance, just take one step. It doesn’t matter. Right. Left. Whatever. Take a step,” she says of the single.
“It just represents happiness to me because I love dancing so much because it’s kind of my first love, it represents joy, happiness, a freedom.
“And so this song is similar in that way, where it says all she wants to do is just dance, dance, dance, dance. It’s really about all she wants to do is be happy. All she wants to do is live.”
According to a press release, the star has “more new music coming very soon”.
