Hazell Dean released her last album, ‘Nightlife’, in 2015, and she’s teased a return to music with a “big” new project in the works.
The Searchin’ (Gotta Find a Man) hitmaker revealed she’s hard at work on something new during her weekly ‘Ask Hazell’ segment on Facebook.
When asked whether she’d be “recording another album one day,” the star hinted a return to the studio is imminent.
“There is something in the pipeline for late year or early next year,” says the star.
“Like most things depends on the Covid situation, but it is going to be a BIG project so fingers crossed it goes ahead because it is VERY exciting!”
Hazell’s music has seen a surge in popularity in recent weeks thanks to Russell T Davies’ ‘It’s a Sin’, which features the classic Whatever I Do (Wherever I Go) on its soundtrack.
The tune features on ‘Heart First’ – Hazell’s first album with Stock Aitken Waterman in 1984 – which also includes Back In My Arms (Once Again) and No Fool (For Love).
