Hanson are back with their latest single Child at Heart.
Written by Taylor Hanson, the single is the second to be lifted from the sibling group’s forthcoming project ‘Red Green Blue’, due May 20.
“The song Child at Heart is about remaining open and hopeful despite the obstacles of life’s journey,” says the singer-songwriter.
“Like a child who’s heart is yet to be discouraged by the tribulations of the world.”
He adds: “The music video for Child at Heart depicts a series of inflicted wounds and tragedies, which leave my character nearly dead.
“It’s meant to be a metaphor for the pain of life and love, and the ultimate redemption of his love rejoining him reinforces the song’s message that we have to remain open and hopeful, despite what life throws at us”.
Alongside the LP release, the band plans to hit the road for a string of international dates, beginning in June in Europe.
The ‘Red Green Blue World Tour’ will bring Hanson to the US and Canada from July – September, Latin America in September, and Australia & New Zealand in November.
In a press release, the group promises to perform 15 songs from the new project, along with tracks from 2020’s ‘Against The World’ as well as a career-spanning setlist of fan favourites.
