Gabrielle is back with her brand new album ‘A Place In Your Heart’, out May 10.
Having returned to the Top 5 of the UK charts two years ago with her covers collection ‘Do It Again’ (2021), the singer-songwriter has announced her first original LP since 2018’s ‘Under My Skin’.
“I really loved writing and recording the songs for this new album with Ian Barter,” says Gabrielle. “I hope you enjoy the record as much as I did making it and thank you for letting me have ‘A Place In Your Heart’ for the last 30 years.”
Featuring 12 tracks in total, Gabrielle also hinted at plans to debut some of the new material during her forthcoming tour, celebrating 30 years of her chart-topping debut, Dreams.

After competing on series three of ITV’s ‘The Masked Singer’ in 2021, Gabrielle told RETROPOP she had plenty of new songs written and waiting to be recorded alongside her covers LP.
“It’s funny, because when I write songs, and then time goes by, I never think I’m just going to use those songs. I’ll always write new ones,” she shared. “You think, ‘That’s great, but what else have I got? What else can I do?’ I always like to push myself. So, let’s just say, I don’t think we’re going to be waiting too long for the next album.”
The Out of Reach hitmaker added: “The days of waiting for me for like 11 years are over. My kids are grown. I’m more selfish as opposed to selfless. My daughter’s going to be 18, my son’s gonna be 26 this year… I’m happy to walk out the door and say, ‘See you later guys’.
“So I’m excited and I can’t wait. I’m just loving the opportunities that are coming my way to be able to release new music, and just keep doing what I love doing.”
