‘90s boyband Five are preparing to release their first album in 20 years.
The group shot to fame with chart hits like Everybody Get Up, If Ya Gettin’ Down and Keep On Movin’, but called time on their career following the release of 2001’s ‘Kingsize’.
Now, they’re back and, after dropping the standalone tracks Making Me Fall and Shangri-La in August, are preparing to unleash a full album.
Scott Robinson tells the Daily Star: “We were given the gift of time to try and turn a negative situation into a positive. It was very easy to go: ‘Ah we can’t gig’ and watch the bank balance dwindle, we wanted to come out with something of worth, we would have never released this album and new music.”
“This song is really special to us, it’s quite poignant, the words are poignant to what’s been going on in people’s lives and losing loved ones,” he said.
Time is the title track from the band’s forthcoming LP and is released on November 26.
