Doris Pearson has dropped new solo track Lover’s Prayer.
The mid-tempo single sees the Five Star vocalist team up with musician Alex Asher Daniel, with whom she co-wrote the song.
“So excited for this song,” said the star in an Instagram post. “I loved the challenge of having this new experience with a genre switch in music.
“We hope you love it as much as we enjoyed making this song happen!”
The single, set to feature on the forthcoming meditation album ‘Book of Spells’, is Doris’ first solo release since her 2017 dance track Moving In The Shadows.
Last year marked 35 years since the group released their debut album ‘Luxury of Life’, but the celebrations were bittersweet as Denise Pearson stepped away from the group.
The remaining four members marked the milestone by releasing a new version of their classic hit Let Me Be the One.
