Erasure have shared the Ian Levine remix of their 1994 single I Love Saturday.
Originally released as the third single from the group’s sixth album ‘I Say I Say I Say’, the track was the group’s 20th UK Top 20 single.
Ahead of the release of the 2CD expanded edition of the chart-topping LP, Erasure issued the previously-unheard remix on digital platforms.
“Recently rediscovered in the Erasure vaults this Ian Levine remix of I Love Saturday is one of 6 previously unreleased tracks featured on the forthcoming 2-CD edition of Erasure’s I Say I Say I Say,” they announced.
The deluxe 2CD is released in hardback book format with exclusive photos by the Douglas Brothers and brand new sleeve notes by Mat Smith.
Disc one features the newly-remastered original album along with six original B-Sides, whilst disc two contains 16 tracks, including rare and unreleased remixes, BBC recordings, alternate mixes and demos.
Its release comes as Erasure prepare to hit the road with their ‘The Neon’ Tour of the UK and Ireland this October, with frontman Andy Bell also teasing a new EP from the group.
‘I Say I Say I Say’, due November 5, is available to pre-order now.
