Elton John and Ed Sheeran are celebrating the holidays with their new single Merry Christmas.
The duo have teamed up on the charity single, which is written by both Elton and Ed and produced by Steve Mac.
It marks the first time the longtime pals have collaborated on new music and proceeds from the release will be donated to good causes.
Funds raised, including the pair’s global record and publishing royalties and its sales, will be donated equally between The Elton John AIDS Foundation and the Ed Sheeran Suffolk Music Foundation.
Alongside the single, an accompanying music video pays tribute to classic visuals including Wham!’s Last Christmas, Shakin’ Stevens’ Merry Christmas, East 17’s Stay Another Day and more.
Mr Blobby, Jonathan Ross, Big Narstie, Michael McIntyre and The Darkness all feature in the clip.
