I’m a Rainbow (Junior’s Shiny Rainbow Edit) is the latest cut to be lifted from Donna Summer’s new posthumous LP.
The track features on the forthcoming ‘I’m a Rainbow – Recovered & Recoloured’ release, featuring remixed versions of recordings intended for the disco icon’s ‘lost’ ’80s album.
It originally featured tracks produced by Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte, but was axed weeks before release.
Now, a slimmed-down, 10-track version of the album is to be issued, featuring the tunes completely re-imagined by a host of international producers, including the new Junior Vasquez mix.
Ladies on Mars, Le Flex, Jean Tonique and Figo Sound are among those who have also contributed to the release, which is due out October 29.
‘I’m A Rainbow – Recovered & Recoloured’ is available to pre-order on A5 Mediabook CD and 2LP Clear Vinyl.
