Dua Lipa has reportedly called upon pop legend Cyndi Lauper to join her for her headline performance at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
The Illusion singer returns today with her third studio album, ‘Radical Optimism‘, ahead of her set on the iconic Pyramid Stage at the Worthy Farm event next month.
According to insiders, Dua is pulling out all the stops, with those in the know telling The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Dua is raring to go for Glastonbury and she can’t wait for people to hear her new music.
“She knows the record will strike a chord with her fans but for the old school musos at the Farm, she wants a touch of nostalgia.
“Kevin Parker from Tame Impala, who worked on Radical Optimism with Dua is another.
“She wants this set to go down in history.”
It wouldn’t be the first time in recent weeks that the Time After Time singer has joined a current chart star on stage; this week, she showed up at Nicki Minaj’s Brooklyn show for a rendition of Pink Friday Girls, which includes a sample of Lauper’s Girls Just Want To Have Fun.
