Confidence Man have dropped the new double single Control / Real Move Touch from their forthcoming album ‘3AM (LA LA LA)’.
Arriving weeks ahead of the Australian group’s third studio album, due October 18, Control is billed as a “bouncy to the point slice of aerobic acid-house”, while Real Move Touch features vocals from reggae MC and Gorillaz collaborator Sweetie Irie.
Group member Janet Planet says of Irie’s studio visit: “I remember him coming into our tiny little studio and then he’s like, ‘Do you mind if I blaze up in here?’ And we said, ‘Hell yeah!’ And he was like, ‘Great, I was just checking you guys were real rock stars’.”
