Robbie Williams’ first two albums ‘Life Thru a Lens’ and ‘I’ve Been Expecting You’ are set to make their vinyl debut later this year.
After quitting Take That in 1995, the singer stormed the charts with his debut solo LP, featuring the massive hits Old Before I Die, Angels and Let Me Entertain You.
It marked the first in a string of UK No. 1 albums for Robbie, including ‘I’ve Been Expecting You’, featuring the chart-topping singles Millennium and She’s The One.
Due September 24, both titles have been newly mastered at Abbey Road Studios and come pressed on 180 gram heavyweight vinyl.
In addition to standard black pressings, ‘Life Thru a Lens’ is available on limited white vinyl while ‘I’ve Been Expecting You’ comes on aquamarine.
Both housed in gatefold sleeves, reproducing the original distinctive artwork. Coloured editions are exclusive to Robbie’s online store while standard black pressings are available to pre-order now.
The reissues come after Robbie confirmed new music is in the works, including a new collaboration with Kylie Minogue.
Speaking about the track, which comes two decades after they collaborated on Kids, he said: “I have a song with Miss Kylie Minogue, I have big plans for it if she is up for it. I have big plans.”
