Cheryl is set to make her debut on London’s West End in ‘2:22 A Ghost Story’.
The Girls Aloud star is taking over from TV presenter Laura Whitmore in the role as Jenny for a 14-week run at the Lyric Theatre next year.
She will join ‘People Just Do Nothing’ star Hugo Chegwin, ‘Horrible Histories’ actress Louise Ford and theatre regular Scott Karim in the cast.

Announcing the news, the Promise This hitmaker said: “I am SO excited to be starring in the West End thriller 2:22 A Ghost Story. I will be playing the role of Jenny from January to April!
“I went to see the show with a previous cast and LOVED IT!
“It is a totally new and exciting experience for me, so if you’re looking for a fun night out and some entertainment in your new year, tickets are available now… whenever you’re ready.”
‘2:22 A Ghost Story’ follows Jenny, who believes her new home is haunted. However, her husband Sam does not, which causes tensions when an old friend and her new partner arrive as their first dinner guests.
The play is in its fifth season and moving to the Lyric Theatre after previous runs at the Noel Coward, Gielgud and Criterion theatres.
