Caro takes the reins on ‘Call The Shots’, the latest single from the Dutch superstar’s upcoming album.
Due October 9, ‘Returning To Innocence‘ is the follow-up to the former Caro Emerald star’s 2023 debut solo outing ‘Nowhere Near The Sky’ (released as The Jordan).
‘The truth is all that lies in me / And all that you refused to see / I can’t keep doing as they please / It’s why I chose to set me free / Ooh, let me call the shots,’ she sings over a brooding instrumentation.

Featuring recent singles ‘Greatness’ and ‘I Can’t Win’, the LP features 14 songs, including ‘Goddess’ and ‘Worship Me’, both of which have been included in Caro’s live shows over the past few years.
The project is billed as the artist’s “most vulnerable work to date” and “a deeply personal exploration that reflects on womanhood, both how it’s lived and how it’s imagined”, with influences including Lorde, Frank Ocean and Enigma.
