The first wave of artists for the 2024 Margate Summer Series has been announced.

From May to September 2024, the seaside town will host a series of massive shows at its premier amusement park and now legendary seafront music venue, Dreamland.

Entering its third and sure-to-be biggest year yet, singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti will take to the stage on July 5, followed by boy band JLS on July 6.

The following weekend, Nile Rodgers & CHIC  will perform on July 13 with support from Sophie Ellis-Bextor and DJ collective Horse Meat Disco, before Jess Glynne brings the hits on July 26.

Garage icon Craig David will be returning to his DJ roots and bringing his infamous TS5 party back to Margate on August 2, before Busted rock out on August 23 with a show of their biggest hits.

Rob Waller, Founder and Programmer of the Margate Summer Series, says: “We cannot wait to bring the Margate Summer Series back for 2024, and we’re delighted to announce the first wave of artists for next year.

“We have been so overwhelmed by the response to us launching the series – the support from the public and local people has been incredible. Margate is a very special town and Dreamland is the most brilliant setting for artists and revellers alike. With a capacity of up to 7,500, it has an intimate feel in comparison to a typical arena show for many of these artists.

“We couldn’t be more excited about what will be our most exciting and diverse line-up yet. Margate – get ready to party!”

More acts will be announced in due course. Tickets for the below shows are on sale here.
