Busted and McFly are hitting the road together in 2025 for a joint tour of the UK and Ireland.
During the 5 Colours In Her Hair hitmakers’ 21st birthday show at The O2, London on Wednesday (October 9), the pop-punk trio made a surprise appearance on stage to announce the mammoth trek.
Titled ‘Busted vs McFly’, the shows kick off on September 16 with at the BP Pulse Live arena in Birmingham, before continuing through the month and into October, with 14 dates announced so far.
Announcing the tour, McFly said: “Busted gatecrashed our show last night (not cool), and challenged us to a VS tour next year. They’re old men now, and we are gonna blow them and their carers off the stage next year.
“We’ve had a great time celebrating our 21st birthday this week and next year is going to be even better – P.S Busted Suck.”
Busted added: “There’s been a lot of talk recently…. This is where the talking ends! We are ready to show who is the better band once and for all. McFly suck and Busted Rock!”
From there, seven more arena gigs are scheduled for the following month, and will commence with a show at the OVO Hydro venue in Glasgow, followed by stops in Liverpool, Newcastle, Nottingham, Manchester, Dublin and Belfast.
