Bryan Adams revisits his roots on his latest album ‘How’s It Goin”.
The rocker’s new record arrives November 6 via Bad Records, with the project honouring the people, landscapes and stories that define Canada.
He says in a statement: “The idea was simply to make a record about Canada.
“It started with writing the song for the documentary Canada’s Wild Eastern Edge and after doing so much research, I was inspired to start writing more songs about Canada. Musically it took me somewhere a little different too, which made the whole thing exciting.”
Clocking in at 12 songs, the LP blends country, folk and rock, exploring what he calls a “distinctly Canadian musical landscape”, while touching upon historical figures and moments that shaped the nation.
Included are recent singles ‘The Ballad of Terry Fox‘ and ‘51st State‘.
‘How’s It Goin’’ is released on November 6 and available to pre-order from Amazon, HMV, Rough Trade, Townsend and more.
