Bryan Adams has released Kick Ass as the latest single from his 15th album.
The rocker, who will release ‘So Happy It Hurts’ in March, has unveiled the new tune as the latest cut from the LP.
Of the single, he says: “Kick Ass begins with a John Cleese introductory sermon which sums up the song, there’s not enough rock and roll in the world… end of!
“More guitars, more drums, join hands…lets rock.”
The Summer of ‘69 hitmaker will release his first new album since 2019’s ‘Shine a Light’, featuring 12 brand new tracks, on March 11, and the LP was inspired by the “freedom” of the road
“The pandemic and lockdown really brought home the truth that spontaneity can be taken away. Suddenly all touring stopped, no one could jump in the car and go,” he said.
“The title song So Happy It Hurts is about freedom, autonomy, spontaneity and the thrill of the open road.
“The album of the same name, touches on many of the ephemeral things in life that are really the secret to happiness, most importantly, human connection.”
‘So Happy It Hurts’ is available to pre-order on CD and vinyl.
