Bryan Adams has been hospitalised after testing positive for Covid again.
The Heaven hitmaker had to sit out a planned Tina Turner tribute at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony last month after a run-in with coronavirus and, upon his arrival in Milan for the unveiling of the 2022 Pirelli calendar that he photographed, he tested positive again
Taking to Instagram, Bryan shared snaps of himself in a room at Malpensa Airport and sitting in an ambulance, wearing a surgical mask.
“Here I am, just arrived in Milano, and I’ve tested positive for the second time in a month for COVID,” he penned. “So it’s off to the hospital for me.”
The Summer of 69 singer was expected to appear at a series of press events promoting the calendar on Sunday and Monday.
In addition to his photography work, Bryan will release his 15th studio album ‘So Happy It Hurts’ next year.
“The pandemic and lockdown really brought home the truth that spontaneity can be taken away. Suddenly all touring stopped, no one could jump in the car and go,” he explained.
“The title song So Happy It Hurts is about freedom, autonomy, spontaneity and the thrill of the open road.
“The album of the same name, touches on many of the ephemeral things in life that are really the secret to happiness, most importantly, human connection.”
‘So Happy It Hurts’ is available to pre-order on CD and vinyl.
