Brian May’s second album ‘Another World’ will be reissued and remastered this spring.
Originally released in 1998, the LP came six years after the Queen star’s debut solo album ‘Back to the Light’.
Recorded at his home studio after the completion of the last Queen album ‘Made in Heaven’, it sees the hitmaker explore fresh musical possibilities.
“I got all these little kinds of commissions and triggers and inspirations from outside,” says Brian, who took ownership of these “triggers” and moulded them into a second solo album in his own image.
Now released as the second strike in Brian’s Gold Series reissues campaign, ‘Another World’ is testament to the guitarist and songwriter’s roots and reach.
The album receives a multi-format release April 22 along with the album’s original single release On My Way Up, as featured as the theme song of the second season of ‘Frank Stubbs Promotes’.
Last year, Brian marked three decades since the release of his solo debut ‘Back to the Light‘ with a deluxe reissue, featuring the classic single Too Much Love Will Kill You.
‘Another World’ is available to pre-order on standard and deluxe 2CD, black and coloured vinyl.
