Boyzlife have released their new single All This Time.
The duo – starring Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and ex-Westlife singer Brian McFadden – return on May 6 with their first original album, ‘Old School’.
Described by Brian and Keith as “the most modern sounding track on the album,” Keith adds: “Being in the studio and writing the song from scratch with Brian and Jackson was a great experience.
“Brian would lay down the guide vocal and then bring me in and tell me how we were going to break the song up vocally. It’s probably one of the best vocals I’ve ever done.”
Brian continues: “It was one of the last songs that we actually wrote for the album. We had Burn For You, The One and these other big power ballads, but we needed something that had a bit of a different feel to it and that was a bit more modern sounding.
“It was a conscious decision for us to write it and ask our producer Jackson to bring in a touch of modern pop sensibility.”
It follows the pair’s first LP ‘Strings Attached in 2020, which featured orchestral reinterpretations of their respective groups’ biggest hits.
The new track comes ahead of the pair’s UK Tour later this year and follows singles Burn For You and The One, out now.
‘Old School’ is available to pre-order on standard and deluxe CD, and individual member cassettes.
