Bonnie Tyler is keen to collaborate with Miley Cyrus.
The Holding Out for a Hero hitmaker was so impressed by the singer’s cover of her 1977 song It’s a Heartache – as part of YouTube’s Released series – that she’s now eager to work with the Wrecking Ball star.
Taking to Twitter to rave about Miley’s rendition, Bonnie penned: “Hearing Miley singing ‘It’s a Heartache’ has honestly made my day!
“I would LOVE to duet with you some time Miley Cyrus.”
Not sure there’s an artist I’ve listened to more than I have you. You’ve made me feel heard since I was a little raspy voiced girl. Love love love that! https://t.co/VchkAoJqNQ

It didn’t take long for the pop star to respond, telling the music veteran she’s totally down for the pair hitting the studio together.
“Not sure there’s an artist I’ve listened to more than I have you,” gushed Miley. “You’ve made me feel heard since I was a little raspy voiced girl. Love love love that!”
It wouldn’t be Miley’s first high-profile duet in recent times – after sampling Stevie Nicks’ Edge of Seventeen on her single Midnight Sky, they teamed up on Edge of Midnight (Midnight Sky Remix).
Another music legend who offered their seal of approval to the former Disney Channel star is Blondie’s Debbie Harry, who was more than impressed with the We Can’t Stop hitmaker’s rendition of the group’s classic Heart of Glass.
“I congratulated her on doing something that was uniquely her with Heart of Glass,” said Debbie. “I thought she did a great job and I liked the way the performance looked and she’s a force to be reckoned with.
“I’m really proud of the fact she did our song and made it uniquely hers.”
