Bonnie McKee plays the ultimate hot mess in her new music video for Forever 21.
Directed by Bonnie and David Richardson, the visual recounts a wedding disaster in ’80s-inspired technicolor as a VHS tape invites viewers to witness Bonnie’s catastrophic night in all its polyester and tulle-filled glory.
Inspired by Bonnie’s past struggles with alcoholism, the song and video pull back the curtain on addiction and showcase the very real repercussions it can have on those around you.
Clouded by alcohol-induced delirium, the video shows Bonnie painfully uninhibited and unaware of the chaos she’s caused.
The song is lifted from Bonnie’s new album ‘Hot City‘, which is out now.
