Beyoncé has released her first new track in a year.
The diva dropped the track from the soundtrack to the new movie ‘King Richard’, which charts tennis aces Serena and Venus Williams’ rise to stardom and the influence of their dad and coach, Richard.
Last year, Beyoncé released the one-off single, Black Parade, as well the visual album, ‘Black Is King’ as a companion to her 2019 LP ‘The Lion King: The Gift’.
In August, the Sweet Dreams hitmaker promised new tunes are on the way after she spent a “year and a half” in the studio.
“With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again,” she explained.
“I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible. I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half.”
Beyoncé added: “Yes, the music is coming!”
