Bananarama have hinted they may release another album soon after ‘Masquerade’.
The pop legends are celebrating their 40th anniversary with their 12th studio LP, preceded by the lead track Favourite.
Speaking to Fabulous, Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward answered a series of ‘burning questions’ about their latest milestone – and hinted there’s lots more to come.
When asked “Can you tell us about your 40th anniversary album?”, Keren teases: “Who says there’s just one…”
“We decided to do a load of things for our 40th, but we’ve only announced one called ‘Masquerade’, which is out in July,” she adds, with Sara calling the LP “bloody brilliant”.
Keren continues: “And then we’ve got loads of shows and we’re just going to continue doing stuff to celebrate, ‘cause boy that’s a lot of years to celebrate and it’s quite an achievement.”
The group’s latest single Masquerade is due Wednesday, June 15.
