Backstreet Boys have announced their return to the Las Vegas stage later this year for a new festive residency show.
‘A Very Backstreet Christmas Party’ will hit the stage at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino for 12 shows through November and December.
“We really wanted to perform for our fans before the end of this year and felt it was a great opportunity,” singer Kevin Richardson tells USA Today.

“We have two Christmas songs in our history and thought we’d do 12 shows – a small sampling that could maybe happen annually.”
The gigs will feature the group’s biggest hits and classic festive favourites.
The I Want it That Way stars enjoyed a successful run of shows at the same venue in 2017 and 2018, as part of their record-breaking ‘Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life’ residency.
Meanwhile, bandmates Nick Carter and AJ McLean are joining forces with ‘NSYNC’s Joey Fatone and Boyz II Men singer Wanya Morris for a four-night engagement at Sands Showroom at The Venetian in August.
‘The After Party’ shows will see the quartet cover one another’s songs while backed by a live band, invite surprise guests to join them onstage and share previously untold stories from their careers.
The residency announcement comes after the group recently revealed they are recording their first-ever Christmas album.
“We are going to be in the studio recording our first Christmas album ever… we’re excited to get back in the studio for that,” teased the group.
The LP is due late 2021.
