Avril Lavigne recruited original skater boy Tony Hawk to help make her TikTok debut one to remember.
The singer recreated her 2002 hit single Sk8er Boi, donning a sleeveless black T-shirt and striped necktie for the throwback clip.
It begins with Avril – who barely looks a day older than her teenage self in the original video – lip syncing along to the track.

The camera then pans to Tony, who is also sporting a necktie, as he shows off his skateboarding skills.
“I just posted my first @tiktok with the legendary @tonyhawk… go check it out!” Avril wrote on Instagram.
In the comments, Tony added: “I was a skater man, she said ‘see you later man’.”
It’s been three years since the singer released her most recent LP ‘Head Above Water,” which saw the star score her fifth UK Top 10 album make a surprise crossover to the US Christian Songs chart with lead single and title track.
And according to Avril, she’s going back to her pop-punk roots on her new collection, which is set to be announced imminently.
Ahead of her latest comeback, the What The Hell hitmaker changed her official website, which now shows a variety of snaps of the star along with the message “Album Coming Soon”.
