ABBA have officially joined TikTok.
The Swedish group shared the first video to their official page, featuring a piano version of their classic hit Dancing Queen.
Just 12 hours after sharing their first video clip on the platform, ABBA had already amassed an impressive 25,000 followers, and prompted the #ABBA challenge.

The trend sees users show their appreciation for the group by sharing their favourite ABBA tracks – either in their original studio versions, or as covers.
Among the famous faces to get in on the trend are Kylie Minogue and Rick Astley, who both performed renditions of classic tunes.
Kylie sang along to Super Trouper as she showed off her personal collection of ABBA memorabilia, including a yellow briefcase, socks and cassette.
Meanwhile, Rick performed a piano rendition of the group’s ballad The Winner Takes It All.

The outpouring of love for the group comes as they prepare to announce new music – their first in almost 40 years – as part of their ‘Voyage’ announcement on September 2.
“ABBA are finally making their comeback and plan to release their first new music in 39 years next Friday — it’s huge,” sources reveal.

Back in 2018, ABBA confirmed the release of two original new songs – I Still Have Faith In You and Don’t Shut Me Down.
Alongside the music, the group is also set to unveil a new live experience in London, which will follow the group’s comeback and the creation of a purpose-built theatre in East London for their hologram show.
