OneRepublic are closing out the summer with their new single ‘Pay That Toll’.
The latest track from the pop-rockers – who debuted with their smash-hit single ‘Apologize’ 20 years ago – is a road trip-ready anthem that juxtaposes a breezy instrumentation with lyrics that warn of paying the price for the choices we make.
‘Yeah, you can go fast, fast as hell / But push it too hard, you’re gonna wreck yourself,’ frontman Ryan Tedder sings.
The track is the latest of several standalone singles from the group, who released their most-recent album ‘Artificial Paradise’ in 2024.
