Welsh singer Duffy looks set to release new music – 16 years after her last record.
The ‘Mercy’ singer made the surprise announcement on Tuesday (May 19) night, sharing a black and white picture from the recording studio with fans on Instagram.
“If only I could find the right words to explain how much I’ve missed you all,” she penned. “Working on coming back to you.”
It’s been reported that the artist recently signed a new management deal with TaP Music, following news that she’ll be stepping back into the spotlight with a new Disney+ documentary film.
The project is set to chronicle the singer-songwriter’s rise to fame, her stepping away from the music industry and a terrifying incident in which she was drugged, kidnapped and sexually abused.
