Four million fans have travelled from around the world to experience ‘ABBA Voyage’ in east London, with the band celebrating the “incredible milestone”.
The groundbreaking digital concert experience opened in May 2022, featuring CGI recreations of the Swedish four-piece performing their biggest hits, from 1974’s Eurovision-winning ‘Waterloo’, through to tracks from their most-recent album ‘Voyage‘ (2021).
Having passed its one million visitor mark in April 2023, the show has now gone on to quadruple that number.
The band said: “Reaching four million visitors is an incredible milestone for ‘ABBA Voyage’, and a testament to the fans who have travelled from across the world to be part of this experience.”
“From those visiting for the first time to the many who return again and again, it’s their energy and passion that bring the concert to life every night. To see audiences continue to embrace the concert and the joy of our music is truly special, and it’s been incredible to watch the concert become a global phenomenon.”
To date, 1,415 concerts have taken place, with audiences collectively spending over 141,500 hours at the show, a total of 7,075 costume changes taking place, and ‘Dancing Queen’ alone playing for 4,800 minutes.
Last year saw the band switch up the show’s setlist for the first time, with the introductions of ‘Take A Chance On Me’, ‘Super Trouper’ and ‘The Name Of The Game’.
